WinScribe Pocket Author streamlines & simplifies the dictation process for healthcare professionals by providing the ability to import patient demographic information into the WinScribe Pocket Author Schedule. The physician simply selects the patient name from the schedule, eliminating the requirement to enter patient demographic information manually. Several days worth of scheduling information can be automatically and wirelessly transferred to the physician's PDA. WinScribe Pocket Author is designed to function in any secure wireless environment, or can be docked via USB to upload completed dictations and refresh daily scheduling information.

WinScribe Pocket Author records using high quality audio suitable for use with WinScribe's server based speech recognition solution. Physicians are free to dictate anywhere anytime & have their dictation automatically routed to the recognition server & then for final editing by a transcriptionist. This optional speech recognition functionality greatly improves report turnaround time.
