Customizable Programmable Buttons. DR-2000 has 3 programmable buttons that can be customized to suit particular program settings for a variety of purposes, recording conditions, and user environments. 

Highly Sensitive Microphone. DR-2000 uses ø10mm, highly sensitive, built-in omni directional microphones. 

Programmable User ID. You can register an ID directly in the DR-2000. The ID will be used as part of the file naming of DR-2000-created dictations.
